In case you want to make your very own Chocolate Truffle cake, this is what you should do-
In a saucepan, under low fire, heat up the milk, butter and chocolate till everything melts. Remove from heat and wait for ten minutes.
Preheat oven to 325°F. In a large bowl, mix some eggs and vanilla. Stir with this, the chocolate mixture, until it becomes smooth. Mix with this, flour, sugar, baking soda as well as salt. Mix until batter gets thin.
Take three greased 9-inch baking pans. Bake the mixture for 20-30 minutes until a pin inserted in the middle, comes out clean. Cool it for ten minutes, before removing the layers to wired rails for further cooling.
For the filling, mix melted butter, chocolate, confectioner’s sugar and fresh cream and beat until smooth.
The ganache can be prepared in a small bowl. In a small saucepan, boil cream and pour over chocolate, and then whisk till smooth. Cool it, stirring occasionally, till ganache starts to spread if poured.
Now for the main part-Put one layer, top it with half filling, then another layer, then rest of the filling. Then the final layer on top, and then the ganache. You can go for further decorations as per your choice."
